On occassion, parking must be temporarily prohibited in specific areas in order to accomodate construction, parades, or other events. When any long term interuption of parking is anticipated, information will be posted here.


Downtown Improvements

The City of Pottsville has recently restored two-way traffic to North Centre Street from Market Street to Laurel Boulevard. Parking with the left wheels to the curb is no longer permitted in this area. Please be aware that ample off-street parking is available in the Arch St Lot and the Capitol Garage (see the Parking Garages and Lots page for more info).
