SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES
The following streets are designated as Snow Emergency Routes in the City of Pottsville, and vehicles MUST BE REMOVED from these areas during Snow Emergencies:
West Market St
East Norwegian St
Laurel Boulevard, from 7th to 12th
Mauch Chunk St
Morgan Ave
Nichols St
North 12th St between West Market St & Laurel Blvd - WEST SIDE
North & South Centre St - BOTH SIDES
Peacock St - BOTH SIDES
FIRE LANES
The following streets are designated as Fire Lanes, and residents are urged to remove their vehicles as far in advance of the storm as possible, since NO PARKING will be permitted in these areas during Snow Emergencies:
Second St - Laurel to Sanderson
Sanderson St - ALL
Third St - Sanderson St to Morgan Ave
Fourth St - Mahantongo St to Boone St
Sixth St - Mahantongo St to Boone St
Ninth St - West Market St to Pierce St
Twentieth St - West Market St to end (west side only)
Wolfe St - East Norwegian St to Ridge Ave
TEMPORARY PARKING AREAS
These sites have been identified as temporary parking areas for affected residents:

SPECIAL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
The following special traffic regulations will be in effect during a Snow Emergency:
Mahantongo St will be ONE WAY EAST from 12th to 3rd St
ALL travel must be limited to EMERGENCIES ONLY on ALL streets
